LIVESCAN FINGERPRINTING Clearance Letter: Results may take up to 4 weeks and must be presented on the first day of class. No felony convictions or firearm restrictions.
Registration: Register for the course through the Stanislaus County Training Center.
Fees: Pay applicable fees to the Stanislaus County Sheriff.
Course Overview:
The PC 832 Firearms Course is a minimum introductory training standard as specified in POST Regulation.
This 24-hour course focuses on essential firearm handling and safety.
The course includes a firearms range qualification examination, graded on a pass/fail basis with one re-test opportunity.
Completion of this course meets the requirements of PC 12050 for the application of a carry concealed weapons permit (CCW).

First Day Location: 3805 Cornucopia Way, Modesto, CA (Attendance on the first day is mandatory).
Equipment Needed: Participants are required to bring:
Semi-Automatic Firearm (9mm, .40 caliber, or .45 caliber)
3 Magazines
900 rounds of Ammunition
Eyes and Ear Protection
Long Pants, Shirt with Sleeves, Hat, Full Covered Shoes (No V-neck or scoop neck T-Shirts)
Holster and Magazine Pouch
