Must be an active Field Training Officer or be reassigned to serve as a Field Training Officer.
Course Details:
This course is designed to provide updated training for current or newly reassigned Field Training Officers (FTOs). The curriculum follows POST guidelines and focuses on enhancing an FTO’s ability to effectively train, mentor, and integrate trainees into the agency’s mission, goals, and operations. Participants will be evaluated through a combination of lectures, role-playing exercises, and written exams.
